Much of my work has revolved around playing music that is indigenous to my home in Austin. My love of Bob Wills' music played a big part in my decision to move to Texas in the late 70s where I was rewarded with the drum chair in Asleep at the Wheel. I've been fortunate to share the stage with some of country's greatest including Johnny Gimble, Willie Nelson, Ray Benson, Chris O'Connell, Herb Remington, Paul Glasse, Junior Brown, Floyd Domino, and Jimmy Day. My involvement in Western swing and country has led me to work with some wonderful singer-songwriters and folk, blues, bluegrass, and Americana artists including The Bad Livers, Danny Barnes, Bob Livingston, Harvey Thomas Young, Johnny Nicholas, Erin Ivey, Silas Lowe, Jenny Parrott, Mark Rubin, and George Carver. Below are some Country/Americana/Roots recordings I've done over the years. Click on the images to preview or purchase them.
